As Catholic Christians, children are among God's greatest gifts to us. Children and babies are always welcome if accompanied by parents or a responsible adult.
A cry room is available if needed. It is the small chapel--the glass-enclosed room to your right as you enter the Nave (the worship space with pews).
The Church is a family, and we grow stronger with all our members participating and involved. You as a Christian grow stronger when you are with your Church family.
If you have been away from the church and are thinking about coming back, first know that we want you back and we welcome you. If you're not sure how to come back or what you need to do, please contact Monsignor Tim Schwertner or Deacon Ron Vowels. It's not difficult, and you will be welcomed back.
Jesus, the Good Shepherd, tells us a parable about how he seeks those who have wandered off. He brings them back into the fold, and there is great celebration (Luke 15: 4-7):
"What man among you having a hundred sheep and losing one of them would not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and go after the lost one until he finds it? And when he does find it, he sets it on his shoulders with great joy and, upon his arrival home, he calls together his friends and neighbors and says to them, 'Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.' I tell you, in just the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance."
