Capital Campaign for the Family Life Center: "God's Plan Our Future"
San Ramón Catholic Church was founded in 1974. In that 50-year history, the parish has never had a dedicated parish hall. A parish hall is a building that typically serves as a center for parish religious education, retreats, fellowship, community events, meeting spaces, and much more. At San Ramón, those functions have always been held in improvised or shared facilities that simply could not accommodate a growing parish's range of activities.
Over the past decade, San Ramón has saved close to half the cost of a new parish hall (which we have named the San Ramón Family Life Center). The funds are held in interest-bearing accounts dedicated solely to construction of the Family Life Center. We continue to hold fundraising events such as parish festivals that yield substantial net income to add to our savings. The remaining amount will be funded through continued fundraising and a bank loan if needed. To minimize the need for financing, we need your help.
Our new capital campaign began on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Please take a moment to read about it (see documents below). More details are forthcoming, including building plans and an architect's rendering of the building exterior. Donations in any amount are appreciated. Larger donations will expedite the planning and construction process and minimize the need for financing. Families who complete their pledges will be recognized in the narthex on a display that will be moved to to the completed Family Life Center.
For questions about the capital fundraising campaign, please contact Rosa Coy, 806-787–0780. For questions about the building project, please contact Deacon Ron Vowels, 806-438–4542, or Ryan Bradley, 806-577-8643.
Thank you. We look forward to answering your questions and sharing with you our faith and hope for the future. By bringing people together for learning, recreation, social activities and special events, the Family Life Center will help us grow as a faith community and as disciples of Christ.`
